The Art Of Being Her Project
The Art of Being Her Project was born from a long-held love of photographing women and a deep desire to create space for what is real. In a world where so much of what we see online is curated, filtered, and altered, this project exists to gently challenge that narrative. It is an invitation to see women as they are — in their natural form, in their current season, without correction or expectation.
This year-long portrait series is rooted in presence and honesty. Each woman is photographed without heavy retouching, honouring her body exactly as it exists in this moment of her life. The intention is not to transform, but to reflect — to create images that feel truthful, grounding, and human. Through this work, I hope women see themselves more clearly, see each other more compassionately, and recognize that comfort in our own skin often begins with being seen.
The project will continue throughout the year, culminating in a curated showcase in January 2027 — a collective celebration of women, bodies, and stories held with care.

This project exists to honour the many ways women move through life in their bodies. It is about celebrating real stories, real presence, and the quiet and powerful ways our bodies carry us — through joy, change, motherhood, grief, growth, rest, and becoming.
The Art of Being Her Project invites women to claim space, to be seen & to honour their journey exactly as it is.
This is a year-long portrait series with one intentional session each month. Each session is guided, supportive, and unhurried, allowing space for softness, strength, and authenticity. There is a cost associated with participation, as this is a thoughtfully created, art-driven project. You do not need a dramatic story or a defining moment — simply a willingness to show up as yourself, in this season of life.

At the heart of this project is storytelling. Each participant is invited to share her story through a written or video interview that will be featured alongside her portraits in the year-end showcase. These stories are not about spectacle — they are about truth. The relationships we have with our bodies, the ways we’ve learned to soften or protect, and the strength we carry often quietly. Every story matters, exactly as it is.
If this project speaks to you — if you’re ready to step forward, honour your journey, and be seen I would love to hear from you. This is going to be one unforgettable year of presence,
storytelling, and artful portraits.
